The Towne Square at Suitland Federal Center is the largest redevelopment project within Prince George’s County. This $400 million construction will create over 1200 jobs. Phase 1, which began in 2018, featured town homes and a senior citizen apartment building being developed in early 2020. The last phase will include retail and a performance arts center.  

In total, the Towne Square at Suitland Federal Center is a 1 million square foot mixed used development with over 100,000 square feet of retail space. Also the performance arts center will encompass local and international cultural events. The center will span over 50,000 square feet of space. Additional community features include a walking trail, outdoor fitness park, a grand park, and located just a couple of block away from the US Census Bureau and Suitland Metro Station.
